I’ve always been an introvert but when I was in my teens I was very shy. I don’t know how she did it, but my mom eventually convinced me to try acting lessons. I thought she was mad! I struggled during the first few classes but I soon discovered that acting was a whole lot of fun and I was hooked! Acting allowed me to come out of my shell and I am now a much more confident person. Today, if I see someone struggling with a problem or depressed, I encourage them to find a unique hobby for themselves, just like I did. Acting may not be for everyone, but it is my own unique love and it has taught me that there are people out there struggling more than I am. Acting has given me something unique to be proud of and it has also taught me to be kind to others.
